• Depending on your location, either take Route 17 N. to Route 13 N. or start on Route 13 N. to Norfolk, Va.
• Take Route 13 to I-64 in Norfolk and take I-64 around Norfolk.
• Then, pick up Route 13 N. again and head over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel to the Delmarva Peninsula portion of Virginia.
• Continue on Route 13 N. to Route 113 N. in Pocomoke City, Md.
• From there, follow Route 113 N. to your favorite beach using the directions below.

To Ocean City, Maryland: Take Route 113 N. from Pocomoke to Ocean City. For downtown and West Ocean City, exit on Route 50 E. For central Ocean City, exit on Route 90 E. For North Ocean City, exit on Route 54 E. at the Delaware-Maryland state line.

To Lewes, Rehoboth and Dewey: Take Route 113 N. to Route 24 E. in Millsboro, Del. Take Route 24 E. to Midway and Route 1 and head north on Route 1 to go to Lewes or south on Route 1 to go to Rehoboth and Dewey.

• Take Route 64 east out of Raleigh to I-95 N.
• Take I-95 N. to Route 58 E. in Emporia, Va.
• Take Route 58 to I-64 in Norfolk and take I-64 around Norfolk.
• Then, pick up Route 13 N. and head over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel to the Delmarva Peninsula portion of Virginia.
• Continue on Route 13 N. to Route 113 N. in Pocomoke City, Md.
• From there, follow Route 113 N. to your favorite beach using the directions below.

To Ocean City, Maryland: Take Route 113 N. from Pocomoke to Ocean City. For downtown and West Ocean City, exit on Route 50 E. For central Ocean City, exit on Route 90 E. For North Ocean City, exit on Route 54 E. at the Delaware-Maryland state line.

• Then, pick up Route 13 N. and head over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel to the Delmarva Peninsula portion of Virginia.
• Continue on Route 13 N. to Route 113 N. in Pocomoke City, Md.
• From there, follow Route 113 N. to your favorite beach using the directions below.

• For All: To make your trip more enjoyable, try to plan your arrival at the beaches at times other than Friday night and Saturday afternoon when beach-going traffic is heaviest. Traffic leaving the beach is heaviest Sunday evenings.
• Keep an eye on the speed limits once you reach the Delmarva Peninsula. Police officers keep a tight rein on the speed limits here.
